Wildflowers - Colours of the Season
As
the spring turns to summer, there is a changing predominant colour to the hebridean landscape.
Verdant green turns to white, pink, yellow, building to a flamboyant finale of every colour.
On 11th June, 2006 the predominant colour was white.

On the machair white carpets of daisies, and on the moorland swathes of common cotton-grass, white heads dancing in the wind.
