Roseroot

Sedum rosea

Gaelic name: Lus nan Laoch

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grows on cliffs and in rock crevices.

The root is thick and fleshy, the leaves those of a succulent..

The tiny flowers have four yellow petals.
Flowers May to August.

Native to the Western Isles
