Shiant Islands - Outer Hebrides (Western Isles)

"We stayed on the Shiants for a week, ringing Puffins and others. Most of the time the weather was a little, shall we say Hebridean?! It was interesting camping in Force 8 winds. Photos were taken mainly during breaks in the clouds of course. But the islands are a fantastic place and I hope to return soon.

This is a photo in rare sunlight. We camped at the back of the cottage but used it for cooking, eating - and drying out. We were very lucky that Adam Nicholson (the owner) joined us for the last 24 hours"

The Outer Hebrides are a chain of Islands off the North-West coast of Scotland.
