Keith Morrison

Keith Morrisons music is a mix of Soft Rock, Celtic and Pop influences. This will appeal to the masses while still remaining unique and stands out from the crowd. Keiths first instrument is the piano which is rare these days as everybody seems to be playing guitar. Keiths proven that he can also play guitar, sing, drum, record, mix among many other talents by making an album (Called Echoes) all by himself.
Keith is best known for being the frontman of local bands "Face The West" and "Rocker 2". He is well known for his extrovert style, forcing the crowd to give him full attention all night. Keith obviously has a whale of a time performing which always filters into the crowd ensuring that everyone is glad they came to see him.
This new 'solo' venture isn't quite solo as he hires the talents of other local musicians to play the parts that he has created (but cant play all at one time), but if you are lucky enough you might be able to catch keith performing live with nothing but his voice and a keyboard for a more intimate setting.
Am Paipear (Uist Local newspaper) went to see Face The West perform in March 2007:
"In rubber-legged Keith Morrison, Face the West have a highly charismatic front-man. Snarling and strutting behind his keyboards, he provides a focus for the bands energy. Communication on-stage was brilliant. With his regular eye-contact and Jagger-esque mugging, Keith seemed to egg the others on until they were all sparking off each other beautifully...Keiths Morrisons vocals sometimes amazed - nowhere more obviously so than during a spectacular rendition of Queens Dont stop me now...Anyone who wants to be able to say they saw him before he is famous should probably catch him while they can!"
