Tue 20th February, 2007	Snowy Owls	Brue - Isle of Lewis - Outer Hebrides	"Two Snowy owls between South Galson and Borve at the side of the main road ...Both are males....One is the Brue bird (that has been around on and off since November) with the head band (but its got some brown stains now on its chest), and the other is also a male, with green staining to the tail and is overall less speckled." Fri 2nd February, 2007	Buzzard	MOD Range - Benbecula - Outer Hebrides	The Buzzard had been feeding on a rabbit at the MOD Range but was too quick to take flight for a feeding shot. I stayed nearby n my car for nearly forty minutes but it never returned, although it was keen to it stayed a few hundred yards away. Once I decided to leave, sure enough I could see it fly straight to the carcase, maybe another day.	Terry F
